USA Cycling announces inaugural NRC Promoters Summit
USA Cycling has announced plans for the first-annual National Racing Calendar (NRC) Promoters Summit in Colorado Springs Nov. 14-16, 2008. The three-day event will be open to all 2009 NRC race promoters. The objective of the NRC Promoters Summit is to improve communication and promote dialogue between USA Cycling and representatives of the season-long, nationwide, Pro-Am road racing circuit. As the calendar gets set to enter its 13th season next year, all promoters that are selected to be a part of the 2009 NRC are encouraged to attend. The summit will provide an opportunity to exchange ideas on a variety of topics as competitive cycling in America continues to grow at the professional and amateur skill levels.

KTEL are the Greek long distance buses that are connecting almost all cities and towns of the Greek mainland. Each periphery of Greece has its own KTEL buses. In Athens there are two main stations of KTEL one is located at 100 Kifissou Avenue at the junction with Athinon Avenue in Peristeri and the other is located at 260 Liossion street near to Kifisou avenue. EICMA Opens its Doors to Journalists
MILAN, Italy (BRAIN)The Italian bicycle and motorcycle show kicks off today in Milan. The exhibition, in its 66th edition, will run until Sunday, November 9, but today and tomorrow are trade-only days. On Thursday the show opens to the general public.
While a bit later in the show calendar, EICMA remains an important event for Italian road frame builders and parts makers. The six-day expo is a showcase of high-end carbon road machines.
Show organizers will once again include four days of bike racing in the 166-meter velodrome inside the Fiera Milano. Bikes4Show, which kicks off this morning, combines music and competition and includes all the specialties that are traditionally part of six-day races.

Race game gurus prepare yourself, Fanatec has released a Porsche licensed Steering Wheel compatible with Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. The Porsche 911 Turbo S wheel is limited to ten thousand units in total. Each wheel includes a laser engraved chassis number plate to certify authenticity. All owners can register in the Porsche 911 Turbo S public registry which will be available in the “911 Wheel Club
The total production is broken down into one limited run of 3000 standard units and then a Clubsport edition (2000 units) and Pure Edition(5000 units). The special Editions include even more extravagent features such as a load cell sensor for pressure and contactless magnetic sensors for gas and clutch with an unlimited lifetime. The “Pure Edition” is only directly compatible with Xbox 360, but there is an RF dongle available to get it working with PS3 and PC.

USA Cycling and IMBA award $3,500 in Trail Tune-up Grants
USA Cycling has announced the six recipients of the 2008 USA Cycling-International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) Trail Tune-Up Grants. A total of $3,500 was awarded to groups displaying the highest need for trail improvement projects. Funded by USA Cycling, one $1,000 grant and five $500 grants were awarded to several groups seeking to jump-start trail improvement projects with an emphasis placed on trails used for racing. With applications from all corners of the United States, USA Cycling and IMBA have selected recipients from Alabama, California, Massachusetts, New York and Virginia.
